This is a beautiful floral shop and tea room that is a unique treasure in the community! Not only did they help me host an amazing bridal shower, they also supplied all of the flowers at my wedding and helped me put together a fake bouquet for a post wedding photo shoot. See attached pictures. Cindy did an amazing job guiding us throughout the entire process and has a great eye off details. I would highly recommend them for all of your bridal floral decor and events!

I can't believe I haven't been to this little gem of a place in Merrillville, Indiana. Merrillville Florist and Tea Room on Madison Street...reservations required on weekends. Delicious food, excellent choice of tea, and wonderful service. Will be going back soon! Definitely a girly place. Also loved the live pianist and little gift shop.

The staff was amazing to work with and so creative and accommodating in coming up with a Disney themed, tastefully done floral wreath arrangement for a family friend of ours that passed away. Great place for an intimate celebration! We had our son and daughter in law’s bridal shower here and it could not have been more perfect. They took care of everything from the food, to the flowers and favors. Highly recommend!

A super adorable place to grab a cup of tea and a lunch with friends! Very intimate and the food was delicious. I had the chicken pot pie soup which was perfect on a cold snowy day. I would recommend planning ahead and reserve, because since it is smaller you want to be able to get in.

The ladies at this establishment are the best. I arrived when they first open and asked for their help for a floral arrangement for my stepfather who is a Marine and went to the land of the Ancestors. Today, I had a wonderful lunch with friends at Merrillville Tea Room and Florist. The lunches are delicious, many teas to choose from, lovely decor and wonderful servers. I've been coming to the tea room for years and all I can say is that coming here, either for flowers or for brunch, it's a lovely experience. There is a new owner, Cindy, and she is a wonderful woman. The food has gotten better since my recent visit, I recommend you try the Hampton. (chicken with some sort of honey glaze paprika sauce with boiled mini potatoes and cranberry sauce on the side.) Phenomenal, delicious, terrific experience. It's worth it, especially if you love an old fashioned tea time aesthetic.

I was there for Christmas tea and then just there for a succulent class and it was awesome! They had fresh scones, the staff was soooooooo friendly and I picked up some great items! If you love a quaint and cozy setting and love tea I highly recommend this place. They also have great food, the Earl grey.... AMAZING! I will definitely be back!

“My sister and I had lunch at the Merrillville Florist and Tea Room yesterday. We were excited about going since we used to go there years before. We sat in one of our favorite tables, the cozy window nook, surrounded by quaint decor. The table was beautifully set and there was a basket of delicious scones. We were greeted promptly by our server and ordered tea. For lunch, I ordered the Metropolitan and my sister had the Chateau Earl Grey.
